This new section of 100 B.U.L.L.E.T.S was made solely for the purpose of finding the answers to such perplexing questions in the 100 Bullets series that we love to hate. The only way for ideas to come is through you (the fans), so if anyone has any theory to put forward, please email me.
1. Atlantic City & The Hooded Man.
Despite almost reaching the halfway point of the planned run of 100 Bullets, the events regarding Atlantic City are still shrouded in mystery. Cole Burns and Milo Garrett, who were there at that time have had flashbacks regarding what happened that day - the burning of one hooded man - bonfire style. As always, one picture can tell a thousand words, so here's a scan from #10, part of Cole Burn's flashback:
In #35, Milo Garrett's flashback
also has this exact same image shown to the readers. However, in #35, the third
man from the right clearly has white hair whereas the man over here has somewhat
brownish hair. Whether white or brown, it seems that this man's identity is yet
to be revealed.
Looking more closely at the picture, three of the Minutemen are already known to us - namely Cole Burns (centre guy of the three standing in the background), Milo Garrett (The guy to Cole's right) and Jack Daw (extreme right). The other three are unknown, or speculative at best. It has been widely regarded that Wylie Times is also one of the six involved. Moving to #35, here's a scan from Milo Garrett's flashback:
All the faces above are covered
in shadows, but some figures are pretty obvious. Cole Burns is second from the
left and beside him is Milo Garrett talking to him. The biggest guy with the
curly hair looks like Jack Daw, but the men on the extreme left and right are
mysteries. The Minuteman on the extreme left looks like Lono, although it
was stated that he wasn't in Atlantic City at that time, while the
one on the right could be Wylie Times, but this is just speculation.
So who is the Hooded Man
(shown in the first picture) who was burnt to a crisp? There are 3 suspects at
the moment - Graves, Shepherd
and Megan Dietrich's Father. I don't see how the
man could be Graves but the clothes which the Hooded Man is wearing is
suspiciously similar to what Shepherd normally wears. Then again, if that was
indeed Shepherd, how can he still be alive now?
